Whatever from Wherever

Evening

Collecting the day's last shimmers of reflected light,
The daisies,
In concert with each other,
Nod ghostly white
Hobgoblin heads
Atop their slender stalks.
Luminescent.
Alive.
We pass along beside them
On the path,
Headed for the sanctuary
Of assigned rooms.
